i am an ex-nri [non resident indian] i.e. i live(d) out of india. born and raised in the kingdom of bahrain – tiny island in the middle east – i finished my basic schooling there in 2004. for the longest time, i never quite realized what i wanted to do with my life. i took up computers because my best friend at that time was doing it. only many years later did i realize that i had inadvertently stumbled onto what was probably the only thing in the world that i’m moderately good at.

after high school, i went to melbourne to pursue my bachelors degree, which unfortunately did not end well. yes, i was there for 3-and-a-half of the best years of my life. yes, i miss it there. yes, i want to go back. yes, it’s the only place in the world i’ve ever called home [and i've lived at a lot of places]. and yes, the only person i can call a true friend is there. however, the good times had to come to an end. currently, i’m on the same path of pursuing my degree in information technology, this time in india, from a college in my home town of cochin. *sigh*.

for those of you wondering about my blog’s title – lolex.muse : compile, run & post, i came up with it after 72 hours of racking my brain for something [at least slightly] witty. so, when i finally put together that since this blog is all about me, my thoughts, my code and whatever else, the title just blossomed. lolex.muse – my thoughts and code inspirations; compile, run – put my thoughts in order, check code for errors; post – write about it on my blog.
